Overview:
Due to recent successes,
our client now has a significant opportunity for
career development and progression in their
rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy.
Responsibilities: An exciting
opportunity has arisen within our client's UK
Headquarters in Wimbledon, London for a Principal
Hydrologist / flood risk consultant to join our
environmental team and set up a dedicated flood
risk service from London. You will be acting as a
specialist in project managing flood risk
assessments and provide hydrological input to the
office and assist with developing a London based
service to clients in the area, as part of a
multidisciplinary consultancy service.
You will be required to conduct flood risk
assessments using appropriate software, provide
advice to scientist and engineers working on
drainage schemes and assist with promoting the
offering amongst clients.
The
successful candidate will have a proven track
record in the hydrology field, including risk
analysis with a background in river engineering,
floodplain management planning and risk
management. You will also have experience in river
and floodplain modelling, flood mapping,
floodplain damage. An excellent salary and
